Christmas Tree Festival 2024 at St Mary’s Church, Aspenden
/in News /by ClerkMake sure you don’t miss this year’s spectacular Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary’s Church, Aspenden.
On the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December, the church will be aglow with beautifully decorated Christmas trees.
The communities of Aspenden, Buntingford and Westmill are getting involved by creating imaginatively themed trees. We have entries from our local schools, businesses, groups, charities, individuals and many more.
What’s more, you will get to vote for your favourite tree and the top three trees will be displayed in Aspenden church throughout the Christmas period.
Our family-friendly festival will allow visitors to escape from the hustle and bustle of the festive period and lose themselves in our astonishing tree-lined medieval church. Make sure to pause for a cuppa and a slice of homemade cake too!
There is no charge for entry as we want everyone to be able to come along and enjoy some time out of the busy period. We gratefully accept donations for the upkeep and work of our church.
If you are travelling by car or sleigh, please park with consideration to our neighbours along the Aspenden road, as space is limited near the church. St Mary’s church is wheelchair accessible and toilets available too.
When is it on?
Saturday 14th December 2024, 10am-4pm.
Sunday 15th December 2024, 11am-4pm.
It will be tree-mendous to celebrate the Christmas season with you!
