Children’s Playground soon to be reopened

The Children’s Playground refurbishment is well on its way and the safety fencing will be removed on Friday.

The 1962 roundabout will remain fenced off until we are able to complete the more complicated works on the footplates and final refurbishment.

The Activity Trail is still awaiting its wooden replacement parts (16 week wait time!) but when we receive those this will be fully refurbished.

All the play equipment will be accessible including the four new pieces for younger children’s play.

The playground looks like new again and we hope visitors will enjoy all the improvements and additions we have made.
