Flooding on Children’s Playground

Aspenden Parish Council is very aware of the ongoing flooding on and around the site of the Children’s Playground.
We are currently looking at drainage solutions and hope to be able to remedy the problem.
We apologise to disappointed users and hope they will be able to enjoy the playground again soon.

Buntingford Parkside Consultation (Land West of A10)

Hallam Land Management is bring forward a planning application for the development of Buntingford, Parkside.
The site comprises 89 hectares of land to the west of Buntingford, adjacent to the A10.

Have your say on Hertfordshire County Council’s budget spending (2024-25)

Hertfordshire County Council have published their draft budget for the next financial year. They plan to spend over £1billion on services touching the lives of everyone in Hertfordshire but also need to tackle shortfalls in funding to deliver a balanced budget.
They are now seeking the views of people who live and work in Hertfordshire on their plans and invite them to share their feedback by completing their survey.

Village Entrance Planters new winter planting

On behalf of Aspenden Parish Council, Councillor Stuart Chambers has organised and planted perennials, some late Autumn flowers and Spring bulbs in the Village Entrance Planters ensuring a good display throughout the seasons and a cheerful welcome to the village.
