Councillor Stuart Chambers has been nurturing a wildflower patch on Aspenden Village Green.

A mixed seed containing Cornflower, Poppy , Yellow Rattle, Archangel, Birdsfoot Treefoil, Red & White Campion, Ox Eye Daisy and Heavens Gate Pansy was sown in March.

They have since flourished into a bright patch of colour that not only looks lovely but has attracted bees and wildlife.
